Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Karbar Pro mobile application (the “App”), developed by Md Munjur Alam (“we”, “us”, or “our”), accesses, uses, stores, and shares information. By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described below.

2. Information handled by the App

Depending on the features you use, the App may handle:

• Google account information: your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google.
• Business and financial records: products, inventory, sales, purchases, expenses, reports, transaction details, and related notes.
• Customer and shop information: names, phone numbers, email addresses, shop name, address, and phone number that you enter.
• Photos: product images you choose or capture with the camera.
• Preferences and operational data: language, theme, receipt settings, backup preferences, synchronization status, and timestamps.
• Connectivity status: whether the device is online and whether Wi-Fi is available, so the App can follow your synchronization preferences.

We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs in the App, and the App does not send your business database to a server operated by us.

3. How information is used

The App uses information only to provide and maintain its features, including:

• authenticating you and displaying your account profile;
• managing inventory, customers, sales, expenses, and business reports;
• creating, printing, exporting, and sharing invoices or reports at your request;
• capturing or selecting product images;
• backing up, synchronizing, and restoring data through your Google Drive; and
• remembering your settings and maintaining app reliability.

4. Device storage and Google Drive backup

Your business records are stored in an application database on your device. If you sign in and use backup or synchronization, the App requests the Google Drive drive.file permission and creates app-related backup files in your Google Drive. This permission is limited to files the App creates or that you open with the App; it does not grant general access to all files in your Drive.

Google processes account authentication and Drive data according to the Google Privacy Policy. Data sent to Google APIs is transmitted using secure HTTPS connections. Your Drive data remains subject to your Google account settings and storage controls.

5. Permissions

• Camera: used only when you choose to capture a product image. You may deny this permission and continue using other features.
• Internet and network status: used for Google Sign-In, Google Drive backup and restore, and connectivity-aware synchronization.
• Background processing and wake lock: used to complete scheduled backup or synchronization tasks reliably.

You can manage app permissions at any time in your device settings.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent your information. Information may be disclosed only:

• to Google when you use Google Sign-In or Google Drive features;
• to another app, service, or recipient when you deliberately use Android or iOS sharing, printing, or export functions; or
• when required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect legal rights and safety.

Once you share an invoice, report, or other file outside Karbar Pro, the recipient or receiving service controls its further handling.

7. Data retention and deletion

Local records remain on your device until you delete them, reset app data, sign out, or uninstall the App, subject to your device’s own backup behavior. Google Drive backups remain in your Google Drive until they are removed by the App’s backup-retention settings, by the App’s reset function, or directly by you in Google Drive.

You can delete your information by:

• using Reset Data in the App to clear local records and app-created Drive backups;
• signing out, which clears local business data associated with the session;
• deleting the App’s backup folder or files directly from Google Drive; and
• revoking Karbar Pro’s Google access from your Google Account permissions.

Karbar Pro does not create a separate account on a server operated by us. Signing in connects the App to your existing Google account; deletion of that Google account is managed directly through Google.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the App’s design, including application-private device storage, limited Google Drive permissions, and encrypted network transport. However, no device, storage system, or method of electronic transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device and Google account and for choosing appropriate backup settings.

9. Children’s privacy

Karbar Pro is a business-management application and is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided such information, please contact us so we can address the matter.

10. International processing

When you use Google services, information may be processed in countries other than your own according to Google’s infrastructure, terms, and privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, legal requirements, or our data practices change. The updated version will be posted at this location with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or its store listing where appropriate.
